Inside the Troll World
This New York Times article about the culture of online trolls is both fascinating and disturbing. It's really about the sad ironies of human suffering. Pain begets more pain. It all makes me sad.
Wow! Americans are really driving less.
I just found this chart on Econbrowser, one of my new favorite blogs.

iPhone 2.0 - Two Weeks Later
I've been using the iPhone 2.0 software on my 2G iPhone for a couple of weeks now. It's time for a check in on how things are going.
The iPhone 2.0 software is slow - as in molasses running uphill on a January morning. And it's not just me. Is the iPhone 2.0 software slower or is it just me?
It definitely seems like the iPhone 2.0 software is slower than the 1.x version. Selecting contacts, switching screens, etc. all seem to suffer noticeable delays. I'm on the 2G version, so maybe that's part of the problem. Has anyone else noticed this?
